Clinical helpdesk  – Physics support for Varian radiotherapy solutions

We are looking for an experienced Medical physicist to join our highly motivated team doing clinical customer support.

As a member of the Clinical helpdesk-team, you will respond to internal and external customers requesting assistance for issues related to Varian equipment. You will focus on treatment planning, treatment delivery and quality assurance.

You will work in a multicultural team of medical physicists and applications specialists providing support to a region covering Europe, Africa, Middle East and India.

We are currently looking for a team member to strengthen our team in Southern Europe.

What you will be responsible for:

  • Support customers and Varian employees over the phone and/or via remote connections, analyzing and solving their issues related to Varian products, mainly treatment planning
  • Escalate more complex issues to other experts, collaborating and providing support in resolution activities, to ensure problems and issues are addressed and resolved properly
  • Collect feedback from customers on product functionalities and system improvements
  • Provide support in testing new products

Qualifications:

  • Medical physicist
  • In-depth knowledge of modern radiotherapy techniques
  • At least three years clinical experience from radiotherapy
  • Strong analytical and logical abilities
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Fluency in English, written and spoken. Additional language-skills (especially Spanish ) is a merit
  • You are customer-service oriented and you have a proactive attitude with excellent organizational skills
  • Experience from working with Varian equipment is a merit
